Audio Highlights has replaced the Student Aid Audio Guide. Audio Highlights provides you with critical information on how to prepare for education after high school. It helps you decide what to study, what school is right for you, what to look for—and look out for (such as scholarship scams and identity theft)—in financing your education, career choices to make, and much more. Audio Highlights is available on compact disc. Contact the Federal Student Aid Information Center below for more information.
Audio Highlights, presented through a series of simulated conversations, discussions and lectures, explains to students how they can apply for and receive aid from the U.S. Department of Education's Federal Student Aid Programs for education beyond high school. Audio Highlights provides an overview of our programs.
To apply for federal aid and to apply for many state student aid programs, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Electronic versions of the FAFSA make applying for financial aid faster and easier than ever.
If you have any questions, or require additional information on student financial assistance, you should contact your high school guidance counselor if you are currently in high school, the financial aid administrator at the postsecondary institution you plan to attend, or the Federal Student Aid Information Center.
